Pretty self Explanatory.
I will draw ALL of DC's new 52 comic book characters. Some will be just sketches, some will be complete drawings. But eventually, I'll get to them all. If there's a particular one/group you'd like to see sooner than later, make some noise.

Men of War
Men of War is the NEW Sgt. Rock cutting his teeth on leadership with the boys of easy company... and becoming sgt rock. Its primarily a war/military book that flirts with the DC universes' superpowered peeps and situations.
This is just a sketch I was doing that kinda fleshed out more than I intended to, and I wasn't gonna post it, but I thought it was too ridiculous NOT to post it. ha. The jumping panel really needs to be its own spash page. A truer Men of War entry is coming.
Written by Ivan Brandon, drawn by Tom Derenick.

Frankenstein
Frankenstein: Agent of S.H.A.D.E.
He and a group of lively un-dead folk are sent out on missions, eliminate other bigger, less reasonable monsters. Frank wears some pretty cool torn victorian/colonial military garb, and has a giant bat-gatling gun.
Written by Jeff Lemire (writes the fantastic Animal Man and Sweet Tooth) and drawn by the either brilliant or insane (I seriously can't tell) Alberto Ponticelli

Batman
In the main Batman comic Scott Snyder is writing really fun stuff, and capullo's drawing ease is pretty much kicking my ass.
Scott has introduced an Owl antagonist for Batman, as is described in the comic (and true in reality), Owl's are natural predators of bats. dun dun dun!
I might re-draw this bigger and dig a bit deeper with the attacking owls.
8.5x11. Pencil.

Legion Lost
Legion Lost is a Team book about the legion of superheroes from waaaay in the future coming back to the past. getting into trouble, trying not to change the future too much. Butterfly effect and all.
Haven't cracked this book, none of the Legion books have ever been my cup of tea. A bit too... chemical maybe.
A couple of fun costumes and a couple aliens to draw.
Fabian Nicieza writes (his x-force run with Capullo was a huge influence on me actually) and Pete Woods Draws.
11x17. Pencil.

Dananananananana Batgirl!
Batgirl. Barbara Gordon. Back on her feet miraculously (was paralyzed by the joker)!
Fun little sketch. I am well aware of how bad the background is. Maybe I should have just deleted it instead of sketching it in so quick. And her rope is doing some impossibly great things.
Her monthly exploits brought to us by Gail Simone and Adrian Syaf

Supergirl! UPDATED
Kara, Supermans cousin has come to the New52 aswell, back to more of a nice girl look (which is actually quite counter-intuitive to most of the female characters updated), rather than the waifish michael turner era glitterati version.
Her newest adventures are brought to us by Michael Green and Mike Johnson. Great, less is more illustration by Mahmud Asrar. He's going places, you can see it in his art.
Pencil (photoshopped in some space gray). 11x17.
Might colour this. Update: I Did! Got a little lazy with the background.
That Voodoo that she doo.
Priscilla Kitaen, or "Voodoo" was a stripper turned superhero, in the former wildstorm universe, and a part of the Wildc.a.t.s team. She was quite vivacious back then, but is much more... subdued now.
In this folded-in version, she is still a half Daemonite (alien) former stripper and is trying to reconcile being half vicious, grotesque cruel alien, and a beautiful earthwoman. It seems at times of need she can switch to a hybrid form that is stronger, faster and has special powers?
Ron Marz writes and Sami Basri draws.
8.5x11, ink pen, marker.

Resurrection Man keeps coming back
Resurrection Man seems pretty self explanatory, and to a point he is, but everytime he comes back to life he has a completely different super power. It's not always the most useful superpower, but it could also be the best ever. Its random.
"So if he came back to life with a shitty superpower, would he just commit suicide?" Good Question!
Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning (DnA) write this fun title, and Fernando Blanco Draws.
Ink Pen. 8.5x11
The main drawing is a pretty obvious concept piece, and I just liked the other sketches and thought to include them. Channeled a bit of Hitch on the windy portrait.

Stormwatch
Former members of Wildstorms' Authority and Stormwatch titles are blended here with a few new and a Martian Manhunter for good measure.
They're the team that handles everything in the under current of the universe. The unseen larger than life catastrophes and dark secrets disasters that must stay unseen.
Formerly notorious for two characters; Apollo and Midnighter (superman and batman parallels), are/were a genre breaking gay couple.
This is back-to-back posts of Paul Cornell written entries! Miguel Sepulveda Draws.
(Honestly not wowed by my own entry here, but I would love a crack at these characters, I will have to do another post)
Pencil. 8.5x11

Updated: Demon Knights
Demon Knights. A title set in the Dark Ages DC universe, focuses on a rag-tag group of magical ne'er do-wells, have history woven with Camelot, Merlin, etc.
It's a little shy of an entry, might get around to more of the characters (quite liked the title so far). Etrigan, "The Demon" is obviously the selling name in series. Favourite story featuring him was a Norm Breyfogle Detective arc.
Paul Cornell writes and Diogenes Neves draws.
Pen and marker. 8.5x11
Colours: Photoshop

Green Lantern!
Green Lantern! Hal Jordan teams with Sinestro to get his green power ring back. Geoff Johns writes and Doug Mankhe draws!
Did something a little different for this entry, as it's noticeable I'm sure. Played around with some composition and multiple characters. Its not a very strong composition, but its done. ha. But most of its in there, Hal and his ring, Sinestro's conceit, the guardian watching, jets, a spree of other lanterns, but I just think I could have put Carol Ferris somewhere... stronger.
I do like the way it turned out, and am dreading the hours I lose when I get the ambition to colour this beast.

Green Lantern Guardians
GL Guardians, is an assorted group of different coloured ring holders against/with Kyle Rayner (ANOTHER human GL).
Tony Bedard writes with Tyler Kirkham on drawing duties. Quite enjoyed his loose style.

Green Lantern Corps
The Green Lantern Corps, is pretty much as it sounds. Its the galactic space police collective powered by green lantern rings. dun dah dah! Focuses on the less spot-lit Green Lanterns. Human Lanterns Guy Gardner (great alliteration) and John Stewart (black green lantern, not fake news anchor) spearhead the corps title.
I think I'm gonna go on a lantern binge.
The New 52 Green Lantern Corps title is written by Peter J. Tomasi and surprisingly fantastic artwork by Fernando Pasarin. Who I have never heard of before... but he's really floored me with his detail and specifically his backgrounds are full and constant. I think Scott hanna is super committed on inks and its making his work seem really slick and full.

Updated Red Lanterns!
UPDATE: Now actually RED! Spent sunday afternoon colourizationing this piece!
Indeed, RED Lanterns. To the ones that don't know, Geoff Johns masterminded the expansion of rings to colours of the spectrum, a simple, brilliant revelation that opened up Green Lantern and DC's universe to alot of new story opportunities.
Each has its own thematic power source, Green is powered by will, and Red is powered by rage, etc. Obviously, Red Lanterns are unstable, unreasonable and vicious. They also spew A LOT of blood. Literally. From their mouths, as they... lantern around.
Two posts in a row for Peter Milligan written comics, Brazilian artist Ed Benes draws.

JLDaaaaaark
Situations/bad guys that can't be traditionally reasoned with or... hit, the back up Justice League Dark team comes through. They're specialty is magic, world of conjure and occult mischief.
From what I understand, John Constantine (not keanu-like, whatsoever), Zatanna, Deadman (previously drawn), Madame Xanadu and Shade: The Changing Man are the team, atleast at first...?
The great Peter Milligan (LOVED Enigma when I was much younger, of course he had Duncan Fegredo on art... who doesn't LOVE Fegredo?!) writes and the quickly growing/bettering artist is Mikel Janin. Uses a lot of reference for people, or maybe he uses 3-D models...? ...but still you can see where he's going and its quite good.
I can see myself drawing alot more Constantine...

Flash AHaaaaAH!
I was "The Flash" in grade 5 for Hallowe'en, good times.
Barry Allen was struck by lightening while friggermajigging with chemicals. And then... super speed superpowers! Works for me!
The New 52 title is focusing on taking what worked for Flash and evolving it. Doing interesting and NEW things with his powers. A very smart and simple revelation was made in issue #2. Flash's body is fast, but to get FASTER his brain needs to be running faster and processing faster. Makes sense.
Torontonian Francis Manapul does unbelievably great double duty on art and writing, as does the colorist, Brian Buccellato.
UPDATE:
Threw on some colours. But I got a little frustrated with using a mouse in photoshop. I have a wacom... I should learn to use it one of these days. Oh and... I had trouble finding a red highlight I was comfortable with using. Red is pretty unforgiving.

Batwing
Bat-wing is wholly new upstart with DC's New52... (as far as I know). Part of either Batman spreading his mantle/reach across the globe (a la batman incorporated), or simply inspired by the character. Situated in Africa... somewhwere. Ok, I don't know much.
Brought to life by Judd Winick (of MTV's way-back "Real World", way-back as in: when the show had more than just jocks and barbies on it ...they actually had a diverse group of interesting people living together in a house and filmed it. purely insane by todays standards) The art by Ben Oliver is rather incredible, I must say.
I already want to completely redo these drawings. ah well. Not very impressed with myself. But moving on.

Mr. Terrific
The worlds 3rd most smartest man.
"how can Mister Terrific defeat a foe even smarter than himself? Luckily, the last time he faced a problem he couldn't solve, he perfected infinite fractal mechanics!"
Fun!
He was a Justice Society member in the old DC. Which is missing from the New 52, but it's seeing a reboot too at somepoint... Anyway, he's flying solo and using his brains AND brawn to thwart scientific injustice.
Brought to us monthly by Eric Wallace and Gianluca Gugliotti

1000 views! Bonus Batman/Grifter
Not THAT big of a milestone, but I'm gonna celebrate it none-the-less!
A post for C.J.! Thanks for the support!
This, like most bonus posts is... batman, I've put him more into the new costume than I ever have... so many seams! And a Grifter added for good measure!
I'm learning alot, and have alot to go, but things like "effects" I'll need to figure out, i.e. shooting a gun, using powers, etc.

Super Duper Mans
Superman, has had a bit of a change. Most of which are in Action Comics, but the changes last up and through the new Superman title aswell.
Lois and clark aren't married/haven't been an item yet, his identity is a big ol' secret again, his suit is some sort of kryptonian armour with random seams and a military-ish collar (what is his cape attached to?!).
Legendary artist George Perez writes and does layouts for Jesus Marino to pencil from. Could be a rotating group of artists. I know Nicola Scott will draw #3...
Oh and I do have every intention of drawing in a cityscape background... just haven't yet.

Swamp Thing
From the Red to the Green!
Explaining Swamp Thing really would be too difficult to paraphrase here.
However, writer Scott Snyder re-caps (and moves the story forward) more eloquently and successfully than I could. Ha. Montreal artist Yanick Paquette has really been going that extra mile to give Swamp Thing full, detailed panel work. Probably a toss up between Yanick and J.H.Williams III for some of the best panel laying possible in a comic book of the New 52.
In addition to my entry here, I have added a bonus drawing of swamp thing I did years ago aswell.
